Set along one of Lendon’s lakefront homesites in Phase II, The Holston is designed around a quieter, more intentional way of living—where the layout, views, and daily function all work together.
This home features a primarily single-level layout, with over 2,600 square feet of living space that feels both open and easy to navigate. The main living areas are centered around connection—kitchen, dining, and living flowing together—while still offering defined spaces that make everyday life feel comfortable, not oversized or overwhelming.
One of the standout features is the office, positioned at the front of the home with direct views of the lake. It’s a space that feels considered—whether it’s used for work, reading, or simply slowing down for a moment during the day.
The primary suite is tucked privately on one side of the home, while secondary bedrooms are set apart, creating a natural sense of separation for family or guests. Practical spaces like the pantry, laundry, and storage are placed exactly where you need them—supporting how the home is actually lived in, day to day.
A built-in safe room/storm shelter adds an extra layer of security without disrupting the flow of the home—quietly integrated, but incredibly valuable.
Have you heard of the design-build method? It’s different from the traditional method. With design-build, every partner and vendor on your project is involved from start to finish. We all - including you - collaborate and inform each other. That way, there are no surprises.
A restaurant analogy may be helpful. The design-build method is like ordering at a sandwich shop or a meat-and-three. You, the customer, walk down the line, guiding the employee behind the glass what to put on your sandwich or plate in real time. You and the employee are a team, “designing” your sandwich or crafting a delicious lunch. (i.e., If there’s not enough mustard, you simply ask for more mustard while your sandwich is being made.) The traditional method, though, is more like a sit-down restaurant. You place your order and wait. Once the food is brought, you then realize your mistake in ordering or that of the server. Your food is sent back, and the waiting-to-see-if-it’s-right starts again. Not to mention, each change to your order adds up in time and money.
For the design-build method, a single team manages the project from start to finish, constantly collaborating with vendors, partners and you - the client - to get things right.
For example, do you want acreage? Start with us, and we’ll help you find the land, draw the plans and build it. We’ve partnered with InTown Partners for our real estate needs, C3 Studio, LLC for architecture plans, Brubaker's Designs for design and a handful of trusted local contractors to complete a home. You don’t coordinate with these great partners; we do that for you. Black Crow Building Co. is a one-stop shop.
